Privacy Policy

Aristotle (www.aristotle.app) is a free library of AI image generation prompts for educational use. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Email Addresses (Voluntary)

If you subscribe to prompt drops, we collect your email address through our on-page and modal subscription forms. Providing your email is entirely optional — the site is fully usable without it.

Analytics Data

We use two analytics services:

• PostHog (US-hosted) — page views, click events, and session replays. Session replay records your mouse movements, clicks, and scrolls on the page to help us improve the user experience. PostHog receives a SHA-256 hash of your email if you subscribe — never the raw email address.
• Google Analytics 4 — standard page view and traffic data. Used solely for Search Console and Google Ads integration. No custom events are sent to GA4.

These tools load automatically as part of the site experience. Browser privacy tools, network-level blockers, or content blockers may still prevent them from loading on your device.

AI-Generated Content

All images displayed on this site are AI-generated through Aristotle's image-generation pipeline using external model providers. The exact underlying image model or provider may change over time. The images depict entirely fictional characters and scenarios. No real individuals are depicted or referenced. The characters shown on this site (including Mia, Elise, and Chloe) are fictional AI-generated personas created for educational demonstration purposes.

Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. PostHog and GA4 may set their own cookies for session identification and traffic analysis when their scripts load.

Local Storage

• aristotle:subscribed — a boolean flag ("1") indicating you have subscribed. Used to suppress duplicate subscription forms. No email or personal data is stored in local storage.
• aristotle:saved-prompts — stores prompt URLs you explicitly saved in the UI. This is a local convenience feature, not an account system, and it does not contain your email address.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any other third party.

How We Use Your Email

We send prompt drops — curated batches of new AI image generation prompts. That's it. No marketing from third parties, no selling your address. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Data Retention

• Analytics: Retained per PostHog and GA4 default retention periods.
• Email: Retained until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes your address from our mailing list.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Delete — Request deletion of your email and associated data.
• Opt out of analytics — Use browser-level tracking protection, content blockers, or privacy tools that block third-party analytics requests.
• Unsubscribe — Click the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us directly.

Children

Aristotle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Users

Aristotle is available globally. Data is processed in the United States. By using the site, you consent to the transfer of data to the US.

For California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell your data
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
